| Dear Oil and Gas Professionals, A new type of Green Surfactant produced from Vegetable oil has been discovered by Surfactant and Bioenergy Research Center Bogor, Indonesia. Current research achievement of the surfactant properties are as follows: 1. IFT in the range of 10-3 dyne /cm 2. Maximum Temperature 150 C 3. Salinity until 30,000 ppm 4. Water Hardness until 500 ppm 5. Acidity until 15 % 6. PH of Surfactant Solution 6 - 8 7. Production Costs are much lower than existing EOR surfactant in the market. Specific surfactant properties for specific oil field to maximize recovery could be tailor made depending on formation fluid and core properties.
