The Client is looking for a Facilities Engineer to manage smaller offshore
projects in Alaska. The ideal background will either be Civil or Mechanical
Facilities Engineering in an Arctic Environment. The ideal candidate must
have previous experience of working in arctic conditions to be able to
understand the challenges they will face in Alaska. Ideally we are looking
for a local Alaskan as no relocation or overseas package is available.
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Engineer, the Facilities Engineer will
work closely with the Production, Engineering and Field Operations Teams to
support facility Construction projects in all operating areas.

Responsibilities:
Trouble-shooting and consulting on facility process problems
Scoping studies for facility process modifications and enhancements to
improve facility performance, reduce costs and enhance production volumes.
Scope, design, engineer and execute facility related projects

Qualifications:

A minimum of seven years related experience in oil and gas projects
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
Proven project management skills as it relates to development projects.
Strong team player within a multidisciplinary environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must possess a solid working knowledge of all HSE and regulatory
requirements for the facility engineering discipline.
Must be willing to travel and manage at the field site level.

Coordinator (Civil experience) to join its team in Brisbane before moving to
Papua New Guinea on a rotational basis.

Roles and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the

- Advises and informs Project Manager on Quality issues, status and metrics.
- Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control
processes within the subproject Project Team, as stipulated in the Project
Plan and the Project Quality Plan.

- Review and approval of EPC contractors Quality Plan and Inspection and
Test Plans (ITP's)

team and identify and assist in resolution of issues

- Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience associated with Quality Management in
Quality Assurance and Quality Control, coordination of quality activities
within Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up projects of

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university,
• Minimum 7 years experience in Operation and Maintenance in Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, LNG or LPG Plant,

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

 

A Major Operator requires a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join them on a permanent residential basis on a refinery project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The main responsibilities are to supervise the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of mechanical stationary and rotating equipment in the plant, such as turbo machinery, gas and steam turbines, pumps, compressors, furnaces, heat exchangers, marine loading arms, steam generators, desalinators, reclaimer, pumps, reactors, conveyors, hydraulic equipments etc. Includes monitoring of work execution and providing guidance and technical advice to ensure conformity to statutory and company regulations and adopting practices commensurate with the company HSE manual, dealing personally with more complex maintenance, and participating in shutdown and turnaround maintenance planning and execution activities and participates in the expansions/modifications of plant equipment. Performs supervisory function and exercises financial authority at a level established by management for the position.

Suitable candidates will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair or major rotating and mechanical equipment in an oil / gas. Petrochemical or Power plants.

- Must be able to create parts, multi-component assemblies and dimensioned drawings to company standards.  Strong ability with geometric and dimensional tolerance analysis, tolerance stack-up and tolerance optimization.
- Strong background in materials, production fabrication techniques, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and processes including sheet metal processing, other background in injection molding, die-casting and machining will be an advantage.
- Must have a strong interest in R&D
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability in documenting technical work to make the complex simple.
