NDT Technician

 

A major oil refining company is looking for a NDT Technician to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Basic Functions:
Carries out routine extensive non-destructive testing of equipment and piping both on-stream and off-stream, for refinery, GUP, SHT, and Jetties etc., using necessary NDT equipment.
Maintains dark room in good order and inspection instruments and tools in proper working condition.
Maintains Ultrasonic thickness data in Pacer system. Receives radio Isotope, storage and safe handling of hazardous radio Isotope.
Carries out necessary NDT during plant commissioning and collects base thickness measurements for piping, vessels and storage tanks and updates the data in to Pacer system.

Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of Higher Secondary School certificate (12 years) with valid ASNT Level II certificates in DP, MPT, UT & RT Techniques.
- 6 years experience in non-destructive testing work in a petroleum /chemical plant.

Interface Coordinator

 

A major Owner currently has an active and urgent need for an Interface Coordinator to join its team by late January/early February of 2010.

The Interface Coordinator implements and stewards the project interface management process between the various Contractors on the project. The position monitors the performance of interface deliverables and works with the HSE Project Engineers to identify and resolve interface issues.

The role requires broad experience in project execution. The candidate must have good leadership and personnel management skills, including strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including Contractors and Company Project Management Team individuals.

Roles and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure consistent and effective implementation of the Interface Management Plan project wide.
- Coordinate with Contractors to ensure the development of their Interface Management procedures and resolution of all Project interfaces. - Review and endorse Contractors' plans/procedures
- Ensure alignment of Contractors with all interfacing parties
- Ensure that Contractors promptly develop interface agreements per the Contract External Responsibility Matrix & further identify interfaces as required for the Project
- Steward and regularly attend Contractors interface coordination meetings and facilitate interaction, where applicable, across all project groups, Contractor and Company.
- Facilitate regular communication between Contractors to ensure interface execution and close out
- Ensure Contractors produce and regularly maintain comprehensive Interface Data Registers of all identified interfaces and provide regular reporting metrics
- Acts as Coordinator for all Company functions where Company is named as an interfacing party.
- Monitor status of interface agreements across Project and provide regular updates to Project Manager and Interface Lead
- Technically assess criticality of interfaces and issues associated with late or missing information. Identify interface performance issues and work with Project Engineers and Project Manager to facilitate resolution
- Work with Project Engineers to highlight and help resolve any associated contractual issues/potential change orders arising from interface issues
- Seek guidance from Company Interface Lead as required

To qualify for this role, you must possess the following skills/experience:
- At least 7 years upstream oil and gas experience
- At least 3 years experience on an owner's Project Management Team
- Previous experience in some or all of the following project areas: project management, engineering management, construction management, business/project controls
- Previous experience in interface management preferable
- Minimum B Eng
- Good understanding of Project Technical requirements
- Multi-discipline experience desired in project management, facilities, marine, pipelines and/or drilling
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
* The Production Supervisor is responsible for operating of the FACILITY's process systems, associated equipment and utilities safely, with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag and the Safety and Operations Management System.
* Responsible for all production activities while in charge of a shift.

List of Duties

The Production Supervisor duties include, where appropriate, but not limited to:-
* Supervise and carry out first line maintenance and isolations on the VESSEL / FACILITY. Assist the Maintenance department in carrying out maintenance of process equipments and utilities
* Be familiar with the and VESSEL / FACILITY process plants safe operation and ensure that he has knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policy and instructions and that the production staff under his control are aware of and understand them.
* Ensure that all information entered in logs, reports, production records and Computerized Maintenance System is accurate and conforms to the Facility Management System.
* Liaise with VESSEL / FACILITY Maintenance Superintendent for stores and spare gear and monitor consumption.
* Gather and compile data for daily production reports and maintain a comprehensive log of all production activities.
* Perform gas tests and isolations as per permit to work and safe entry permits specific to the process systems.
* Carry out various laboratory analysis oil/water, SRB cultivation, cooling water tests, etc. in accordance with procedures.
* Monitor and maintain chemical injection equipment and monitor dosage rates of process fluids/gas efficiently.
* To perform oil quality testing when required.
* Monitor pipe work condition via corrosion probe readings, ultrasonic thickness checks, iron counts and maintain Prosafe Corrosion Management Plan.
* To supervise and support contractors activities onboard and ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with Facility Management System.
* Must perform Emergency Response Duties as deemed necessary by the company.

Qualifications
* Engineering trade, hydrocarbons production or other relevant qualification

Experience
* Experience as production technician on similar facility with experience in the operation and maintenance of process equipment.
* Experience with Integrated Management Systems and Computerized Planned Maintenance Systems preferred.

General
* Good personal and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and culturally aware with experience of working with multi-cultural workforce preferred.

The Senior Process Engineer support Project Management Team (PMT) during the front end engineering design (FEED), detailed engineering, construction and commissioning phases of the Project. Ensure that all Process engineering works meet the Project safety, environmental, operational, quality, cost, design, and schedule objectives.

Minimum Requirements:
a. Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering.
b. Excellent understanding of Project Technical requirements
c. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
d. Excellent interpersonal skills

Experience
a. Minimum of fifteen (8) years broad experience in all project phases i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction.

Production Engineer

 

A major Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a Production Engineer for their Gulf of Mexico assets. The position entails production monitoring, optimization, short-term forecasting and working knowledge of production operations. You will nfluence deepwater completion design, conceptual through to production
The candidate must have a mminimum of 7 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.

Candidates must fulfil the following criteria;
• Interventions such as coil tubing, electric line logging, slickline, perforating and cementing.
• MMS regulatory requirements
• Nodal analysis experience with Prosper modeling.
• Competent with Excel spreadsheets. Direct experience with OFM, and Petex software are desirable.
• Must have experience with Choke Model and uptime analysis
• Must have experience with well test analysis and transient analysis
• Production Forecasting with decline curve analysis
• Experience with Flow Assurance, i.e. hydrate paraffin and asphaltene prediction and mitigation
• Well Integrity
• 7 years oil and gas industry experience
• B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering or related degree

Our major EPC client is looking for Project Engineer/Manager to be based on their brownfield project in North Africa.

The purpose of the role will be managing and delivering specific project workscopes, including supervising, organising and co-ordinating engineering design and support activities for the project.
Prepare documentation for call to bid for all assigned packages.

• Proven track record in managing and delivering projects, preferably with brownfield offshore oil and gas focus
